Scripture about scars shows that scars are a sign of God's healing and the sacrifice of Jesus. The Bible says that Jesus bore our sins and wounds on the cross, and by his wounds we have been healed. The Bible also says that God will restore our health and heal our wounds. Scars are faithful reminders of God's love and grace.
And when He had said this, He showed them both His hands and His side. The disciples then rejoiced when they saw the Lord.
and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed.
Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I do my share on behalf of His body, which is the church, in filling up what is lacking in Christ’s afflictions.
He heals the brokenhearted
And binds up their wounds.
